About Us
Dr. Peter Allen is an is a recent graduate of the University of Washington in Seattle. He has published papers in journals such as Analytical Chemistry, Electrophoresis, and Biochimica et Biophysica Acta: Molecular Basis of Disease. His research has been at the interface of chemistry and neurobiology. His next adventure is a move across the nation to work on aptamers, a fascinating nucleic acid technology.
The Jester is our ‘comic relief’. For obvious reasons, he wishes to remain anonymous. He often makes jokes in poor taste while in mixed company at dinner parties. He acts ashamed afterward, but in fact takes deep pleasure in the act.
